Stella is not so much a newborn any more...at 2 months she's getting a bit chunky.
2 month well baby stats:
weight: 12 lbs 12oz - 90th percentile
height: 23 1/2 inches - 87th percentile
head circumference - 15 inches - 33rd percentile
Compared to birth:
weight: 7lbs 6oz
height: 21 inches
head circumference - 33cm (about 13 inches)
Some little bits of info about her:
- more awake time during the day, but still not consistent
- still sleeping great on her back with our without a swaddle
- smiles any time someone talks to her
- follows voices and looks around
- still only cries when she's hungry or tired...sometimes cries in the car, but usually she'll pass right out.
- Shes in size 1 diapers still, but really should be in 2 (I just have some left)
- Wearing 0-3 and 3 months clothes
- nurses every 2 hours during the day (sometimes 2 1/2 to 3) and wakes once during the night. Goes down around 9:30 and up around 4ish.
What she enjoys:
- loves her swing! (and so do I...she will just pass out in it)
- playing on her activity mat
- bath time...she kicks like crazy and it calms her down if she's upset
- she gets really excited when we talk to her...kicking and talking back
- her brothers
What she could live without:
- tummy time
- some noises startle her and she bursts into tears :(
