Dec. 1st 2013...Stella 7 months old

12/1/13

Stella is 7 months old!  Some new things about her:

Around the middle of November her bottom right front tooth finally broke through.  Then a few days later her bottom left front tooth came through as well.

She started saying Momma, for real...not just the sound.  But, it seems to only happen while she's crying.

She's not very interested in moving and is pretty content just sitting on a blanket and playing with her toys, but she is starting to army crawl.  She started pushing up onto her knees, but seems to prefer army crawl or rolling to get from one place to another.

She's starting to wave a lot...usually at her own imagine in the mirror.

After starting solids in November, she became super constipated.  She is on a very limited diet...if anything at all.  She's content with nursing every three hours during the day and at times will wake around 4 or 5 am to nurse.

Caleb and Stella (6 and 7 months)...pretty difficult to get a picture now.

Thanksgiving in NY...2013

We traveled to NY this year for Thanksgiving.

11/24...hitting the road!

Woohoo...out of the car for the night.

The usual wrestling on the beds took place.

And a little swimming.

11/25...day two of the drive...we made it to NY around lunchtime.

11/26...the first morning we woke up in NY to find several inches of snow.  Unfortunately, Hunter was sick.  This was the first time Austin had seen snow in awhile.  He loved it!

Stella was checking out the snow from inside where it was warm.

Hunter was feeling better so he made it outside after all.

Chris built a snowman.

Stella playing with a napkin at Papa John's.

11/27...Stella by Papa John's Christmas tree.

He was watching something on television...

Stella and Lily (who looks ginormous in this picture)

My friend, Katie, and her daughter, Riley, stopped by to say hello.  Riley is two months younger than Austin.

More fun in the snow...trying to get as much snow play time in as possible, because it had been awhile since we had snow in NC.  Little did we know how much we'd get this winter!

Austin likes to build puzzles and then leave them out on the floor.

11/28...Thanksgiving morning we went in search of a hill for sledding.  It was chilly!

Jill's friend, Eugene, and Hunter having a staring contest.

The kids corner...literally...Hunter was annoyed he had to sit at a table with just Austin. (and face the wall)

Nan, Kathy, Aunt Mary Rose

Austin loved the pumpkin pie.

And, of course, Hunter did as well!

Austin kept sneaking into the freezer to steal ice.

11/29...Jack surprised us by showing up in NY.  He left a note saying he had gone all the way to NC and the fish told him where we were.

Austin didn't really get into Jack much last year, but this year he was very curious.  He still talks about how Jack is at the North Pole right now.

Broccoli for breakfast...

Sleepy baby...I have taken a bunch of pictures of Stella passed out in my arms after feeding her so I can remember what she looks like some day when she doesn't do this anymore...but, the pictures do not capture the cuteness I see in real life. (or how little she really is)

Saying our goodbyes before hitting the road.

Nothing like a chocolate chip ice cream cookie sandwich to kick of the road trip...compliments of Byrne Dairy.

Of course, Jack had to come with us.  Since he can't be touched I had to wrapped him in my scarf.  He watched the kids as we traveled.

11/30...home sweet home...Austin, helping with the laundry.

My dirty car.
