History on a Saturday

We met some friends at the NC History Museum this morning.  Everyone had a good time.

He was pretty mad that all of the balls were in protective boxes or behind glass.

He did pretty well the entire time there, but he wanted to walk himself.  If you tried to pick him up or hold his hand he would lay down on the ground.

Lunch at a nearby diner.

Checking out the little horse outside of the museum.  There was also a man pickiting outside of the science museum.  His sign read, "The science museum does not allow service animals."  Turns out the science museum does not allow service rabbits.  He has a service rabbit that helps him calm down during a panic attack.

Friday Funday

Hunter had an early release from school today.  I took the big boys to the playground for a few hours this afternoon.  The weather was great.  They played for a bit and then moved over to a field to play football.

Hunter's 2nd hockey game.  He had fun eating cotton candy, popcorn, and drinking pink lemonade.  Oh, and the Hurricane's won!

Austin had fun at home playing with Samantha and James.  I have a cute picture, but can't get it on the blog at the moment.

Another birthday!!

Hunter's buddy from preschool had his 6th birthday today.  We went over this evening to celebrate with him.  Kind of neat how they were born five days apart and get along so well!  :)  Happy birthday to Lucas!

Everyone huddled around to see all the presents...

I did not take a single picture of Austin today, but he got a hold of the camera and I found several pictures of our washer.  :)

Hump Day!

Austin demanded cheerios like bro bro this morning...with milk.  He didn't even spill any!

Ella came over with a new stuffed bear today.  Austin, of course, wanted to see it, but whenever he came close to it she would yell, "noooooooooooo."  She had a tight grip on "Purple" most of the day.  I brought down one of Austin's stuffed animals.  He hugged it and then started playing basketball with it.  No wonder Ella didn't want Austin holding her beloved "Purple."

At the gym today Austin kept riding this little car thingy into the part of the gym we were not supposed to be in.

While they were eating lunch today I was frosting a cake to send to Hunter's school for something.  They were both asking to taste the frosting.  So, I gave them each a small spoon of chocolate frosting.  They liked it!

Happy Valentine's Day!

A special Valentine's Day breakfast:

The gift bags were from MooMa and PaPa.  Austin wasn't so sure about this singing/walking monkey at first.

Winnie definitely did not like it!



Austin liked his lollipop and Hunter liked his whistle from MooMa.



They both enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries...although Austin took a bite and the chocolate fell off.  He handed me the chocolate and ate the rest of the strawberry.

Austin just loves Cam's car seat.  I had to hide it.

And, Cam just loves the laundry basket.  :)

Monday again...

Austin was in quite the mood this morning.  I felt like I was wrestling a baby seal, grizzly, fish, etc...all in one a I tried to get him ready this morning.  It was a rough start, that's for sure.

But, we had gymnastics this morning and he had fun.

Chilly Sunday

We had a pretty quiet day today.  I guess we were all recovering from a busy day yesterday.  It was too cold to do much outside.  Chris and Hunter played outside for a bit.

Hunter and Austin playing with a remote control car set Hunter got.  It has two cars and two remotes.  Austin uses the second remote and thinks he's moving Hunter's car.

Hunter's new gun...he's aiming at the basketball backboard.  It fires off 20 "bullets" one right after the other.
