3/29/12 First T-ball practice

Our morning started off like this...

Austin has been going through a major tantrum stage...refuses to get his diaper changed, refused to have a new one put on, refuses to wear clothes, etc...today wasn't as bad as the past few days. 

Hunter had his first t-ball practice today.  Austin had fun watching...

Legos

Pretty low key day today...clearly, as I didn't even think about taking a picture until this evening.

Hunter wanted to work on a new lego set he got for his birthday by himself.  Usually I have to build his projects and he plays with them.  He was determined to do it himself.  He did pretty well...with just a little frustration.  But, we had to leave it for tomorrow to get ready for bed.

Of course Austin had to join in on the fun.  In order to keep him away from Hunter's project I had to let him play with other legos.  He insisted on taking a lego wheel to bed with him.  I went in to check on him and he had the wheel in a death grip in his left hand.  (fast asleep)

Lot of play time today

Ella and Austin started a new Tiny Tumblers session this morning.  It was early and it took them a bit to get into their normal groove.

Austin was trying so hard to keep up with the big boys on the playground this afternoon.

Let's see...what crocs should I get?  He tried on a ton!  I am sure the guy who worked there really enjoyed us showing up with five kids to "try" on crocs.  :)

Sand fun...

Austin kept throwing sand out of the sand box.  I started to walk over to him and he ran away from me screaming.  He wiped out and landed in the dirt by the swings.  It was all over him, including his chin.  Then he jumped on this swing...here he is with his dirty face.

I was fiddling around with the camera this afternoon and found some neat functions that I didn't know the camera had...there is one function to take several pictures in a row.  These four were kind of funny, right before Hunter ran into a tree...

These are two videos from pictures from the same function...the first one is pretty funny...it is funnier to watch it while it moves faster, but this is all I could figure out how to do.  The next one is Austin pushing Ella on a swing...he just had to do it by himself!

I thought Austin's hair looked so funny tonight after I dumped a cup of water over his head to rinse the shampoo out of his hair.  It looked funnier in person...

3/25/12

Today the weather was much better then yesterday.  We were able to get out to run, play with Hunter's new baseball glove, go for a bike ride, etc...

Chris was finally able to mow the lawn.  Everyone was watching him from the living room window at one point. 

Hunter went out to climb trees and got to see a snake that Chris hit with the lawn mower.  He was pretty disturbed at the fact that Chris chopped the snake's head off to kill it.  Later he could not eat his dinner because he kept thinking about it.  Then I told him I had a special dessert for him if he ate.  So, guess who finished his meal?
