Busy Weekend!

Saturday, 1/5/13, Hunter had his first basketball game of the season.  He is on the orange team named the Bobcats.  He is number 3.  This year he's on the 7-8 year old league even though he'll be 6 for most of the season.  So, he is one of the shorter players.  You can tell that he is getting the idea of the sport a little more.  It's so funny to watch him sprint from one end of the court to the other.  He does well playing defense.  He did get the ball a few times and dribbled and took a few shots.

We met with a husband of a girl Chris works with who does wood working on the side.  He is going to build a wall unit for our dining room (playroom) and build the bunk bed for Hunter and Austin's room.  The lady at Rooms to Go is NOT going to be happy when I cancel my order...for the 2nd time.  Oh well.

Sunday, 1/6/13 we picked out our new flooring for upstairs...no more carpet!  So excited about that.  We all went to the gym.  The kids liked the "Kidz Club," I swam, and Chris worked out.

Hunter got his haircut this weekend and he even let the lady put a little gel in and spike it.  Chris bought him his first diary.  He wrote in it and wants to find a good hiding spot for it.  He's sleeping with it tonight.  I showed him how to write the date in it for each entry.  

"Gloria" is doing flips right now.  10:30pm and she's wide awake!
