Happy Easter! And, a recap of a fun week!

Monday, March 25th:

The boys had their 3 and 7 year old check up.  I was outside of the office talking to the dr. for a minute and they were going nuts in the room.  (wearing only underwear)

Hunter was concerned about going and was happy to report to Chris that he was growing just fine.  After talking to the dr. about it, I am going to get Austin tested for speech.

We bought some new blankets and pillows for the couch.  Hunter and Winnie liked them.

Tuesday, March 26th:

Ella, Austin, and Cam played all day while we waited for our friends, Kevin, Kora, and Landon to arrive from Miami.  They came just in time for dinner.  Then Kevin and Chris headed off to band practice.  Landon, Hunter, and Austin had a lot of fun playing.

Wednesday, March 27th:

Chris and Hunter headed off to work and school.  The rest of us went to Lake Lynn to play for a bit.

Landon and Austin had a great time going down the slide.

It took Ella several attempts...we've been trying this slide for months.  She finally went down and then continued to slide down the slide over and over.

While Landon napped, we made a few crafts.

Sharing the iPad.

I went out to eat with Kora, Emily, and Diana at a delicious restaurant called Relish. When we got there I was surprised by a few other friends with a baby shower for Gloria...or I guess I can call her Stella now.  :)  I'll add pictures of that later...they were not taken with my camera.  However, I got a bunch of great girl items.

Thursday, March 28th:

Hunter has the rest of the week off and all of next week.  Chris took Thursday and Friday off.  After a nice breakfast, including fresh squeezed orange juice from some juicy Florida oranges we headed out to the museum in Durham.

The train was full so we could not all sit together.  Chris sat with the boys.  I had to sit up near the front with some random man.  It was odd.

Checking out the black bear on the camera.

Digging for fossils...

Hunter had baseball practice.  He did really well.

Friday, March 29th:

More fresh squeezed orange juice, did I mention how many oranges we had...well, still have.  A LOT!

Kora and I went out an ran a few errands.

Later we went to Lake Lynn for some maternity photos.  I'll add those later as there are a bunch to go through.  But, Kora did a great job taking pictures of my huge stomach.  The boys fed the ducks and played on the playground while they waited for us.

Later we went to visit our friends, Todd and Di.  We stayed pretty late and Austin fell asleep on the way home.

Saturday, March 30th:

We started the day off with some Easter egg dying.  That was interesting.

Then we went to a friend's house for an Easter egg hunt.

Slow and steady wins the race...well, not really, but Andrew did not drop his egg!

Landon did...a few times.

Egg toss.

Austin peeled the entire egg, including the white part...

He ended up with just the center.

The little kids went on an Easter egg hunt in one yard while the big kids were in another yard.  So, Hunter went off while I stayed with Austin.

The Stolls headed back to Florida.  :(  We went to MooMa's.

Sunday, March 31st:

Easter Morning...

Austin took a while to warm up to the morning egg hunt.

Hunter's basket.

Austin's basket.

Once he realized he could eat chocolate he was happy.  :)

Hunter playing with Jessica's new puppy, Baxtor.

Austin playing with his eggs.

Austin wanted to make funny faces for the camera.

A great Easter meal with lots of family.

Big Papa and Austin.

An outdoor egg hunt was next...Austin found some and then got tired of looking.

Hunter, on the other hand, found plenty.

Emma found the special silver egg with $20!  How does the Easter bunny afford this season?

Instead of eating the candy he spent time putting it all between his toes.

A pile of sugar.

We had a great week!  Looking forward to relaxing/cleaning up tomorrow.  Hunter has the week off so we have some fun activities planned.
