Honestly, the week after Austin's birthday party was pretty quiet and we stayed home most of the days that week...which means I really did not take many pictures.
Monday, 3/11:
We used Austin's new bubble blower that he received for his birthday.
Last picture of my two year old, right before bed:
Tuesday, 3/12:
Happy 3rd Birthday to Austin!! The day started off rainy, which worked out ok, because instead of being stuck in the house watching our new windows go in, they postponed for the following day and we went out.
Lots of balloons for the birthday boy!
His favorite fruits for breakfast.
Opening his present from Aunt Jilly before Hunter left for school...
A Mario shirt!
And, Mario band-aides! He kissed them.
I took Ella and Austin to the Rainbow Room to play.
Opening his Thomas Trains from MooMa.
Very excited!
The weather cleared up so we were able to play outside for a bit. He's showing me how old he is...we need to work on holding up three fingers.
Waiting for me to drop something.
I was going to take the boys out to get frozen yogurt, but Austin had said that he wanted to blow out his candle on his chocolate cake. So...here's the chocolate cake in progress.
Hunter was our photographer for our yearly 5:59pm photo...the time Austin was born. Then we went to the mall for dinner.
Opening a few gifts.
He does like his new towel...
See :)
Don't mind the mess in the kitchen or the fact that it looks like I'm going to choke Hunter. At least we're all smiling.
For some reason he was having a hard time blowing out the candles...and, they were not trick candles either.
Yum!
He still holds his ear whenever he has a drink. He's been doing this since he was an infant.
Three is going to be interesting...he had three tantrums on his 3rd birthday. Hoping we're getting close to being past the tantrum stage.
Wed. 3/13:
Today we had new windows installed so we stayed home most of the day. You can see the new windows in the photos with the kids painting. No more broken windows...and the draft is gone!
Later, while Chris was at band practice, we played Austin's new Cooties game. I won! Mine was the pink one...Austin pulled it all apart. It was funny watching him try to figure out how to shake the die and roll it.
At lunch I looked at Ella's face and it was covered in yogurt. I asked her what happened and she said, "Austin was feeding me." Go figure.
Snack time with friends. Hunter got out of school early, so after a quick snack we went and spent the afternoon with some friends at a playground. It was really nice outside!
Monday, 3/18:
Some play-doh fun!
Tues. 3/19:
Some fine motor skills, working with sorting colors, counting, and sizes.
Wed. 3/20:
Out for a bike and scooter ride!
Austin decided he was going to move the wet clothes into the dryer...all by himself. I couldn't help. Hope he still enjoys doing this when he gets older. I especially hope he likes folding clothes...because that is a chore I cannot wait to pass on!
Winnie has been really clingy with the boys lately.
Thurs. 3/21:
We had a busy day...we went to visit Chris at work. They liked looking out his window since we were so high. They also liked the escalators and elevators that we rode.
Then we went to eat lunch with Hunter at school.
I decided to take them to Ben and Jerry's while we killed some time...Austin wanted white ice cream and Ella wanted purple. But, then Austin saw a cone dipped in chocolate and wanted that. So...I assumed he wanted his ice cream in it. Apparently not...he threw a huge fit and eventually I realized it was because he wanted just the cone. However, after I took all the ice cream out of it, he took one bit and decided he didn't like the cone after all. So...he ate the ice cream instead. I feel like I can never win with him.
Ella got her purple ice cream...raspberry with chocolate chunks.
Mid-pout.
Happy again...in REI riding the bikes.
And, Ella could not leave without testing out all the strollers!
Hunter had his first spring baseball practice and we froze to death. I didn't even take my camera out of my bag. We drank hot chocolate when we got home.
While I was reading to Hunter, Austin was entertaining us with new attire.
Working on some cutting.
Cam would cheer whenever he got one row done.
Austin got a hold of my old camera and there were a TON of random pictures on there. Here's one he snapped of Cam.
Some bike riding after school...I had a hard time keeping up and took a two hour nap afterwards once Chris got home.
Hunter found my book, I Just Want to Pee Alone, and was laughing like a maniac.
Then just acting like Hunter...
Sat. 3/23:
The boys had to get fitted for their tuxedos for Jessica's wedding. It took forever and apparently Hunter walked into a dressing room where he claims he saw a nake man. Nice!
Sun. 3/25:
The only pictures from today were the ones taken by the boys...
They laughed and laughed over this picture.
And this one...
We were watching Schnitzel...there were several of him.
