So, that wasn't my last post as a family of four.
Yesterday I let the boys color my belly with washable markers. They thought it was great. Then I colored on Austin's and Hunter colored his own.
Warning...if you do not want to see a huge stomach, you may want to stop reading here:
Chris and I went to my appointments today. I met with the doctor who is doing my surgery tomorrow. Then we walked over to the hospital and met with the anesthesiologist, I had my blood drawn, and I'm all registered for tomorrow morning. I am scheduled for a 9:30am surgery unless it gets pushed back for something else. So...we should have a daughter by 10 or some tomorrow morning!
Pictures and such will be posted on facebook and/or the blog at some point tomorrow. :)
Come see what we have been up to in 2012! A blog post for each day of the year...plus one (leap year)!

Last Post as a Family of Four!
Just 3 days until Stella is here. So crazy! This past week was pretty busy and I did a lot to get ready. Not many pictures were taken.
Monday, 4/22:
I went into Hunter's class to volunteer for the last time, at least for awhile anyways.
Later we went across the street to celebrate Jay's birthday. Next year we'll have seven birthdays to celebrate between Feb. and June...Hunter, Austin, Emily, Jay, Stella, Junior, and mine. There only person who is left out is Chris.
Some day when Stella gets married to baby boy Papile we'll blow up these pictures for their rehearsal dinner. I was two days from being 38 weeks in this picture and Emily was a day from being 35 weeks. Crazy how fast this time has gone.
Tuesday, 4/23:
I honestly, cannot remember what we did...I think it was nice out. Pretty sure we went somewhere and played...typical day. I did have my drs. appointment...all was fine.
However, Austin was NOT a happy camper at bath time. He cried and cried during his bath (and refused to sit down). Then he would not get out of the tub after the water drained. He did pass right out once his head hit the pillow. I guess he was tired.
Wed., 4/24:
We played at tot time at Lake Lynn gym, had a picnic lunch outside, and played on the playground.
Later a dog that had gotten out of his backyard came wandering into ours. He found Austin's basketball and started barking like a lunatic for it. I was finally able to read his tag to find NO phone number, only his name...really helpful. He eventually grabbed the ball and popped it after a few chomps. Austin was mad.
The neighbor drove by and had to drag him to the car...with the ball since he would not budge without it. As he was leaving Austin was saying he wanted his ball back.
Hunter had a game this evening. He played left field, third base, short stop, and third base again. He did really well. I have a video and will add it later if I can get it to download.
Thurs., 4/25:
We stuck around the house most of the day today. I found out that the nice folks at leappad will replace a damaged leappad once as long as it was purchased within 12 months. This is what happened to it after Austin threw it one day in the car. I had to write on it per request of leappad so they could see it was not usable. Our replacement should be here in 10 business days.
Fri., 4/26:
Chris was given cupcakes at work...he didn't bring any home.
Ella and Austin's last day together for awhile. They were cuddling on the couch.
Sat., 4/27:
Hunter had a game this morning. He played catcher, pitcher, and center field. He had a hard time moving in the catcher's gear.
We took the boys to an outdoor play area called Three Bears Acres in Creedmoor, NC (about 30 minutes away) for the afternoon. I had a living social voucher that had to be used by May 19th. It was a lot of fun, but Chris found a tick on his leg when we first got there so we were both on high alert for ticks the rest of the time.
We started off on the big bouncy pillow:
Then they painted on a big paint wall:
And tried to roll around in these big thingys:
Water station:
We conveniently skipped over their mud kitchen, which was neat...but some kids got super muddy...
Headed over the sling shot area and archery:
Austin checking out the water where there were paddle boats:
Big slide:
Austin jumping off saying...again!
Fort:
Checking out the water...we skipped the paddle boats today:
We had a fun time!
So much fun we passed out on the drive home:
Hunter went to a friend's house for a sleepover. Emily and Jay came over for dinner. Austin had a good time playing by himself...later I went to check on him and saw how many toys he took out to play with.
Sunday, 4/28:
Today we got the car cleaned out, arranged the car seats, set up the baby swing, pack-n-play, etc...I ran a few errands...
I came home to find the boys dressed up like Mario and Luigi:
Hunter and Chris played a little poker before bed...
Tomorrow, Austin and I will do something fun and get the last few things done before I head to the hospital early Wednesday morning!
