Our first road trip in our new (as big as our house) car...on our way to NY. The boys were excited to watch movies.
August 3rd...day two of our drive.
Timing with driving with an infant is always fun...you have to stop at any point in time. So, Chris and the boys got to eat our picnic lunch in a shopping plaza parking lot.
Another stop to feed Stella, so the boys got some ice cream while they waited.
I got her to suck on a pacifier!
August 4th...mom had some friends and family over for a little gathering. I didn't really take any pictures because Stella was being really fussy.
Tough life!
Several years ago I had a "little sister" through Big Brother, Big Sister. Now she is a mom of two boys. It was pretty much impossible to get all of the boys to look my way for a picture.
I have this same picture of Hunter when he was younger...smelling the flowers at my aunt's house.
August 5th...
Ommegang Brewery
August 6th...
Blueberry picking! We picked 16lbs of blueberries.
And probably ate another 16lbs while we picked!
Nonna showed the kids her bike before the firemen parade.
Tiny town parade...
All dressed up and no where to go!
August 8th...meeting Linda
Funny series of pictures...couldn't get everyone to look at the camera.
Bubbles!
Three old friends and seven kids!
Maddox, Katie's son.
August 9th...last day in NY. We celebrated Papa John's birthday a few weeks early.
Stella and her great Aunt Mary Rose
On the road again...headed back to NC...rainy car ride, watching Goonies for the first time.
We stopped about 5 times the first few hours of the trip for potty breaks. Austin's headphones fell off his head right as he was done. Woops!
talking to him...
eating him....
Home sweet home!
