Day two of super cold weather in Raleigh and I was not about to stay in the house all day again. Luckily we had plans. I took Ella and Austin to a local gym where they open it up for toddlers to play. It's great. Austin guarded the basketball hoop for most of the time we were there.
Snack break...
After we got home they washed their hands and spent a good 5 minutes drying them. They thought it was quite funny. Hand towels...funny things!
The cold weather did not stop us from playing outside for a bit. Andrew was begging to try out the new tire swing.
These two boys belong in the circus...
Last, but not least...Hunter was assigned a family project for school. He was told to decorate a paper with a snow person on it however he wanted. The last time he had a family project I helped him with it. He had to disguise a turkey. We disguised it as a Christmas tree. We thought it was great. Chris said, "That's not what I would have done." So, I told him he was more then welcome to work with Hunter on his next family project. Which brings us to tonight. They decided the snow person would be a robot. Here is what Hunter did tonight:
Chris and Hunter had to make a trip to Radio Shack at 8:15 this evening to get something for the snow person. Yes, Radio Shack...Hunter is now fast asleep in bed. Not sure what time Chris will be getting to bed tonight...I asked him, "What will this robot do?" His response, "Not sure, I guess we'll see." So...tomorrow, I'll show you the finished product. Good thing it's not due until Friday!
