Rushin' Around Town...

Game days always seem to be rushed...Hunter gets off the bus, comes home to play for a short while, gets dinner shoved at him...I race around trying to get everything packed up for the game for both boys...Chris gets home from work with about 10 minutes to shovel his own dinner down...and then we're off...to make a 6:15pm game on a week night.  If they could just move the game to 7pm my life would be that much easier.  But, I can't complain too much...t-ball has been a super cute sport to watch!

Before the game...here's a picture of Ella and Austin on the way to get Hunter from his bus.  I thought they looked funny...Ella is wearing a pair of Hunter's old shoes that were dug out of a closet by someone.  Austin is wearing his shoes on the wrong feet and a beaded necklace he found in Hunter's room.  Sometimes he sneaks into Hunter's room and comes out with a look of success after finding something "new."

This picture makes it look like he's waiting for the bus in a quiet, calm manner...when in reality he is running all over...into this guys yard, stealing the decorative rocks and screaming...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as I try to catch him.

Cam going for Ella's water...

Then her goldfish...

Success!  (Ella's thinking...great, now I have two boys who steal things from me!)

Austin all ready to play in the game...too bad it was Hunter's game.  (honestly...he's probably just as good as most of the 5 and 6 year olds out there.)

Chris giving Hunter some pointers on the way to the field.

Checking out the teams...thinking...I can do that.

Hunter did really well today.  He played pitcher in the first inning.

In this picture, if you look carefully, you can see the ball coming right towards Hunter.  He just missed it...the ball hit his glove.  He was so excited to have almost caught the ball!

Sadly, my camera battery died during this play.  Hunter got the ball and threw it to first base.  The first baseman caught it!

This picture may lead you to believe that he sat quietly and watched the game...when in reality he was running onto the field, into the dugout, around me in circles...literally...etc...
