Chris and Hunter both had the day off. We did more work around the house and we were both able to get to the gym. No pictures...nothing exciting. Although, I did get out for a bit with a friend for dessert at a restaurant called Relish. I had never been there before and I really want to go back because their menu looked great.
Tuesday, 2/19:
Not such a nice weather day, so we were inside playing all day.
Color time...
Today Ella and Austin spread this blanket out on the floor and then filled it with toys. They kept saying, we're making a mess, but at least it looks organized...kind of...after I took this picture they added a bunch more to this mess. It took a long time to clean up, but they did it. (They did this almost every day this week too)
Hunter's game...he is so funny to watch on defense. He bounces around and waves his hands.
Hunter actually got the ball a few times this game. He's becoming a little more aggressive and is understanding how to play better now. He said he's ready for baseball to start, which is good because I just signed him up for the spring league which starts in March.
Austin took the opportunity to sprint across the gym floor during half time. After Chris caught him he screamed the last two quarters of the game because he wanted to go out on the court.
Wed. 2/19:
Today would have been my grandma's birthday.
The weather was a little bit better, so we were able to play outside at the playground after tot time at the gym. It was a little wet though.
Cam mastered this slide today and was so proud of himself.
Thurs. 2/20:
I can't even remember what we did today...must have been a great day! However, I took this shot of Austin below, he would not stand still for me. Now that his clothes are in the drawers in his closet he gets really excited to dress himself. He came downstairs wearing a wife beater (but it was only over his right shoulder, not left), and Thomas pajama bottoms. At one point he tried to wipe his face on his shoulder (his new habit) and said, "How do I wipe my mouth on this shirt?"
Friday, 2/21:
There was a delay today for public schools...THREE hours and the roads were fine, just a little wet. There was a possibility of ice. Didn't happen. So our day was kind of busy.
We went and ran a few errands before dropping Hunter off at school at NOON!
I found these funny pictures on the camera that Austin took. He also took a few shots of Ella flashing the camera. I deleted those.
The boys playing "dress up."
Sat. 2/23:
We all got out to the gym this morning, it poured ALL day long. I was able to get some more things organized in the boys bedroom and got a lot of stuff out of the baby's closet that belonged somewhere else.
Hunter used one of his birthday gift cards to buy this game. The boys love it.
And more shots I found on the camera that the boys took of each other.
Sunday, 2/24:
Today was beautiful...we spent most of the day outside organizing our shed. The boys entertained themselves with our new bubble wands and a big bucket of bubble water.
We took everything out of the shed, have a truck load of a items to bring to the dump, got rid of a few things for free on craigslist, and then put everything back nice and neat...well, as neat as you get for a shed.
Here are some pictures of all of our shed items...(minus the playhouse and play set...those are always outside)...we clearly need a garage.
Most of this is trash...not the flag.
After spending hours working on this I did not want to make dinner or wash dishes...so we went out to eat at Red Robin. I've been there twice before. Once when I was pregnant with Hunter, once while pregnant with Austin...and now pregnant again. Kind of funny and ironic.
Austin was thrilled. There was a TV on the ground when we walked in and he just laid down on top of it. Then he was excited to see all the TVs in the restaurant. It's been awhile since we've taken him out I guess.
He drank this entire milk in about 10 minutes or less.
