After falling asleep at 7:45 last night I figured Austin would be up early...he was, kind of...around 4:00am he woke up and after trying to rock him back to sleep I just brought him into our room. That was a fantastic idea! It amazes me how a two year old can hog a king sized bed!
Thankfully we were able to get outside for a bike ride this morning before the rain started. It was cold out, but Ella and Austin needed to get out and play for a bit.
While they played/danced in Austin's room today I was able to go through clothes in his dresser and weed out all the stuff that doesn't really fit anymore to make room for the 3t clothes I took out of the attic. It's fun going through those tubs of clothes and remembering the phases Hunter was going through. This was his cape phase. He had several pajamas that had capes attached. Austin was pretty excited to see them.
I had a parent teacher conference with Hunter's teacher this afternoon. He is doing well. He seems to be enjoying school more this year.
This evening we went to Target to get a few things. I had promised Austin a special treat because he did so well with using the potty today.
Hunter really wanted these:
They were worth the price of 4 for a $1! We also were able to find Hunter's Waldo costume for Halloween. Austin picked out Thomas the Train.
