Happy Halloween!

This morning we worked on a little Halloween craft idea that I stole from a friend, thanks Kora...I think I stole her idea from last year too.  Hunter got to spend the day with us because school was out for a teacher workday.  He told me not to make any weird breakfast for him this year.  He really did not like the severed hands and bloodshot eyeballs I made him last year.  Party pooper!

There were a bunch of shots like this from Hunter.

I wish I had taken a picture of Austin gluing the fence down.  He used a bottle of elmer's glue and was just copying how Hunter was doing it.  He did great!  I was surprised.  I really wanted to show him how you can rub glue all over your hands, let it dry, and then peel it off...then I remembered who I was thinking about sharing this with.

Waldo and Thomas the Train!

Thomas found Waldo!

Waldo and Peter Pan.

The first house...Trick or Treat!  Austin was so excited to get a lollipop that he wanted to eat it right away.  We told him we needed to get more candy first, so he spent the rest of the night saying, "More candy!" after leaving each house.  (he ate two lollipops while walking...super safe)

Tinkerbell found us for a bit.

After about an hour and a half and only going around a small block of our neighborhood, this is what the boys had.  Enough to last us for quite some time.  Hunter was shoveling in candy like he had never seen it before.  Austin was sucking on the wrappers.  I had to fight my urge to sort the candy by type and count each kind.  I did notice there was not a single butterfinger.  :(

What a difference a year makes!!

  1. Awesome pictures! The crafts came out really cute. It looks like Austin liked getting his foot painted as much as Landon did. :)
