Hunter had his Unicorn Trot at school today. Over the past few months the kids have been running laps each day on the playground and today at the trot they all completed a half marathon! (they did the last half mile or so today) They were all given t-shirts and a number, just like a real race.

I saw Hunter drawing tonight and later I saw this in our bedroom. I asked Chris about it later and he said Hunter drew him a picture so he would not forget what Papa looked like. So sweet. Chris told Hunter to write Papa on top, so he wrote, "For Papa"
Hunter misses him a lot. He cried himself to sleep several nights in a row the week before last and has gone, a few times, to see the school guidance counselor to talk to her. I'm glad he has support at school and someone who he likes to talk to.
