This afternoon Hunter went to a summer camp and he will for the rest of the week. It's a science camp where they build things that fly...kites, planes, rockets, etc...
He was nervous, but had a friend with him so he seemed fine when I left. When he got home he was excited to share what they had made.
Austin was NOT happy that we were leaving Bro Bro behind. Thankfully, there is a shaded playground right near where we dropped Hunter off. So, we played there for an hour and came home and I had two 2 year olds napping!
It was weird...I wasn't sure what to do with myself. So, I watched some of the Olympics and worked on my knitting. I'll do something more productive tomorrow if I should be so lucky.
This evening was spent mostly trying to fix Austin's crib. The boys were jumping in it, after being asked NOT to do so...and a piece of the wood split and that was that.
Hunter was afraid he was going to get spanked. I just told him that this is why I asked him not to jump on a bed that has a weight limit of 50lbs.
We made a quick trip to Target to get a side rail...Chris got the crib fixed and took the side off and there was Austin's new toddler bed.
Here he is "practicing." Chris took the side of the crib off and then put the "toddler" sides up, but there was still a bit of a gap in between. He has also slept so close to the side of the crib, that I figured he would fall out a few times, which would mean I would have to get up and help him back into bed. So, for now, the side rail will keep him from doing that! Please note the new piece of wood on the right side that Chris had to use to get the bed to stay up. And, that's why you're not supposed to jump on the bed.
Fast asleep.
