Busch Gardens...What a Day!

We ventured out to Busch Gardens when it opened at 10am this morning.  We some how managed to stay until 7:30.  The kids did great and we had an awesome time!  I am so physically exhausted I can barely type.

Here is a sneak peak of our day...I'll post the rest of the pictures tomorrow.  Tomorrow is a day of rest...well, kind of.  We're headed back to Busch Gardens in the afternoon to see the fireworks!
Hunter enjoying himself on a roller coaster.

We started off the morning with some pancakes made by Kevin.

All ready for Busch Gardens!

Everyone was super excited...riding the trolley to the entrance.  We arrived around 10ish.

Walking in...

...to the world's most beautiful theme park!

We hit the Loch Ness Monster roller coaster...it looked like a pretty laid back roller coaster and Hunter wanted to go on it.  Thankfully he was too short, because this is what it really looked like.  It was awesome.  I think it opened in 1978 and is the only original roller coaster left at Busch Gardens.

Headed to another country.  Busch Gardens is dividing into different countries, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, France, New France, Germany, Oktoberfest, etc...

Another look at the Loch Ness Monster and some other rides.

The first ride the kids went on...

The Land of the Dragons had a splash pad area for the kids, lots of fun kid rides, and a huge tree house to climb through.  So the kids played in this area for a while and we took turns riding a haunted castle ride that was 3-d.

Austin stood like this for the longest time.  It was so hot!

Hunter climbing up in the tree house.

Hunter, Austin, and I rode on a small ferriswheel.  It was super duper hot.

They had the best time on this ride.

Some dippin' dots

This roller coaster, The Griffon, was crazy!  We took turns riding it and went on the front row

They dangle you over the top right before dropping down.

Chris and Kevin and on this one...front row, first two people on the left.

We took a train ride around the park.

Sleepy boy...he didn't fall asleep at all.

Hunter was very happy about his sword.

The Sesame Street Forest of Fun!  The kids loved it there.

Another splash area...

Lots of fun rides.

The Elmo drop ride thingy...

Way up high!

Landon's turn...he rode this a bunch of times.

Hunter loved this one.

He rode it over and over.

Roller coaster for Hunter...

He rode it with Chris first...they are in the second row.

Second time on the ride...

He was screaming and yelling the entire time...and wanted to go again, but we were all ready for some dinner.

Escape from Pompeii...we didn't go on this one yet, but Hunter enjoyed being splashed.  We did ride the flume ride which he LOVED.  He went on that one a few times too.  He said that was his favorite ride.

We got home around 8ish after 9 hours at the park.  The boys still had energy!  But, they fell asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow.
