Saturday 9/22/12

This morning I went for a nice 7 mile trail run at Umstead with a few friends.  When we were leaving I pulled out and was driving along only to be caught speeding by a cop who was just waiting for his next victim.  There were a bunch of cops in the same area pulling people over.  It's crazy...the speed limit on the road was 45, but NO ONE drives 45.  Long story short...he gave me a citation for not carrying my license.  So, now I have to show up to court on Oct. 25th to show them my license.  

We travelled down to Laurinburg for a visit.  Jessica and Tanner were there, along with Aunt Jennifer, Erin, and Holly.  Donna and some of her crew stopped by as well.  

Debby had a lady make dinner for "ten" but, instead we had dinner for an entire football team

Erin got to use this freaky looking knife that was used to slaughter pigs, or something gross like that. 

The last time we saw Tanner was this summer at the beach.  He had helped Hunter beat some levels on his Mario game.  This time he was able to beat the entire game.  I'm not sure who was happier.

Austin took this picture of Layla, Jessica's dog.  He also chased her around the house all weekend.
