Working Hard on Thursday

Austin and Ella have continued their work with the letter A.  They are having so much fun.  Today they did "school work" for over an hour.  

They love to help with pointers while singing the ABCs.  Later today I heard this banging on the wall and realized Austin was doing it himself.  Pretty cute...

Today was their first day using stamps.  I found old stampers that I had...apples, astronauts, and airplanes...that was interesting and a bit messy.

Today was also their first day using scissors.  I showed them how to cut on the line.  However, they were just cutting pieces of the paper off.  They loved it.  I think they were cutting one piece of paper for close to 30 minutes.

To continue with the color red and throw in some counting they had to put 5 red beads onto a pipe cleaner.  They were really good at it.  I love the look of concentration on both of their faces in these pictures below.
