Beautiful Monday

It certainly does not feel like December 3rd, but I am not complaining.  I forgot to take Jack's picture this morning, but he came with another note.  He was on the mantle with a new ornament for the boys.  It was a special radio from the North Pole.  Each day you change the dial on the radio and it will give the boys an update from the North Pole.  Hunter loved it and listened to it over and over.  (we didn't really show Austin because he's already broken a bunch of ornaments because he takes them off the tree and plays with them like toys)

Jack also left "magical seeds" and told us to plant them to see what was going to happen tomorrow.  So...we shall see.  :)

I had a TON to do today, but decided the kids needed to get outside to play in this warm weather.  We met a few friends at a playground and enjoyed the great weather.

This afternoon I started to tackle the five billion leaves that are all over our yard.  I barely made a dent.

The mail lady dropped off a package from Nonna.  She sent the boys a gift for each day up until Christmas.  So, we opened the first three since today was the 3rd.  They were really excited.  They each got their own advent calendar with chocolate.  I remember sharing one with Jill and every other day one of us got the piece of chocolate.  Nonna obviously knew that would not work well with these two...so they each have one.

Hunter planting the seeds.

Today's chain activity was s'mores for dessert.  Check out Austin in the background drinking milk...he still rubs his ear when he drinks.  He's done this since he was a baby.  I wonder how long he'll do it?

***I finally finished adding pictures from the past few weeks on posts that were picture less***
