Christmas Eve

We had a day full of lots to do...I finished wrapping the last few presents, made the sauce and meatballs for tomorrow's dinner, got a breakfast casserole ready for tomorrow morning, etc...

Jack left a good-bye letter and two small boxes of sugary cereal for the boys.  Hunter ate cocoa puffs and was amazed that the commercial was right...the milk turned into chocolate.  Austin didn't eat his.

Testing out their new car pens...

Ella liked her present...

The boys had a few crafts to work on...Christmas tree ornaments.

Austin worked really hard to paint his salt dough hand print.

Hunter did a great job turning his hand into Santa.

2012 hand prints on our pillowcase stockings.

Finished hand prints...

Austin's tree on the left...Hunter's on the right.  Austin went nuts with glitter.

This evening we drove around to some houses I had heard about with nice decorations.  There was one that had two light shows tonight...we got out of the car to watch the show.  Santa walked around passing out candy canes to the children.

When we got home the boys opened their Christmas Eve gift.  They received matching pajamas.  Hunter got a pair of spy goggles and Austin got two cars from Cars 2.  He's sleeping with them now.

Hunter was covering up Santa and his cars.

Making sure the cookies were ok...

Feeding the reindeer...

A little milk while watching A Christmas Story.

And, now we need to bring all the gifts downstairs.  Hopefully the boys are asleep.
