Jack was "flying" in Hunter's room this morning...he was hanging from one arm from his ceiling fan. He noticed that as he moved around in his room Jack would turn and look at him. He thought it was kind of creepy. I showed him it was just the breeze of him walking by.
Everyone has been feeling a little under the weather so we stuck around the house today...the kids played while I picked up, did laundry, cleaned bathrooms, etc...
Austin got a booboo and the only band-aide that was near by was a bacon one. He liked it. I'll admit that I smelled it (before putting it on his toe) to see if it really smelled like bacon. It didn't.
The boys went to the chiropractor with me...my back has really been bothering me. We're planning on putting some sort of a wall unit in the playroom and I kind of liked the idea of having a desk/work station area in the middle and shelves/drawers/cubbies on the sides...but, I want them to go all the way up to the ceiling.
Tonight we made these yummy candy cane cookies...the directions said simple. Ha! They took FOREVER, but were delicious. If you're local and want some, come get them before I eat them all.
Or...here's the recipe if you want to make them yourself. (beware...I'm not joking when I said they took forever...however, I would make them again)
