He woke up happy!
Austin was so surprised to see the train set...he didn't really say anything at first!
He finally started talking a little.
He pretty much spent all day playing with his new train set!
Yummy breakfast...cinnamon sugar on toast and apples. Austin didn't eat a thing. He just posed for the picture, drank some milk, and went back to playing with his train.
I had left over batter from his cake, so I decided to try to make cake pops. I gave Ella and Austin a cake ball and Ella was not so sure about it. Austin was in her face telling her to eat it because it was good. At least, that is what I am assuming he was saying. She ate it after that...and liked it. :) Going to try to decorate these tomorrow!
Austin was even too busy to play with Cam today!
I started decorating this while everyone was napping. It did not take long at all!
However...Mr. "Terrible Two" did not want to take a nap. He cried for about 30 seconds and when I went to check on him he was passed out in his chair. He slept there for an hour and a half. (fyi...his room is not this bright when he sleeps...the flash was!)
Snacks while we wait for Hunter to get home from school.
Austin has to walk everyday now, holding his brother's hand.
I was trying to get a picture of him wearing his new shirt!
These three photos were taken at 5:59 pm, the exact time Austin was born. He would not pose with Chris...too busy with his train.
Dinner...a number 2 pizza and spinach and tomato calzone.
Beautiful evening for a walk!
Time for cake!
He blew out his candles really well the first time. Then he asked to do it again and again. Kind of funny...Hunter did the same thing when he was 2 and we have a video of him asking for more as well. (fyi...the flames from the candles were not as close to Austins' face as they appear!)
Yum!
Let's blow out these candles again.
I was surprised...he actually opened his presents. (there were only 3) At Christmas he was not very interested. His first gift was a ball Hunter had picked out and he was so excited to get it! He also got a farm animal puzzle and a farm book from my Aunt Mary Rose and cousin, Kathy.
Maybe being two makes him more responsible??? He picked up all of the tissue paper and put it back into the bag without being asked!
Realizing Austin is two makes me think of all the things he has accomplished so far...yet, how much more he has to learn. What a great age. Looking forward to another fun year with this crazy little boy.
***disclaimer...I hope what I wrote made sense. This was the first time posting on the blog where I actually feel asleep while typing!!***
