More Cake Decorating...

My mom and Ed arrived this morning after driving through the night.  Hunter had an early release day at school and when I picked him up he was all excited to tell me about what the leprechauns did to his classroom.  He is also working on a book for Austin that he illustrated and is now writing the story out on each page.

Once Ella and Austin went down for a nap my mom and I started decorating the cakes.  The chocolate cake is a pasture with cows on it..and in the middle there is hay.  I forgot to take a picture of it and it's currently over in my neighbor's refrigerator.

The next cake is a cow cake.

We picked up our grill tonight and had our first cook out of the season!

I am making cake pops for Austin's party as well.  They are cooling in the fridge now.  You see what I'm making in tomorrow's post.

1:00 am and I am done with all the cake pops.  Meet the barn yard friends...chicken, pig, and cow.  I think I may be sad to see people bite into them tomorrow.  :(
