We woke up bright and early this morning. Hunter was up at 6:30 looking out the window to see if it was morning yet. No snow was on the ground in Boston, but the weather in areas where we driving through was snowy and all the schools had been cancelled.
Hunter got his birthday present from Jill...a new pair of slippers he had wanted. When he walks the puppy ears go up and down.
Then she made us breakfast...pancakes with chocolate chips and fruit. (toast, hummus, and tabouli too...yum!)
Hunter played with her roommate's dog...Buckley. He's a bloodhound and his HUGE! Super sweet though.
We hit the rainy roads out of Boston around 10:50am and by 11 we were driving in snow. It was rainy/snowy the entire drive, but the roads were ok.
We stopped for lunch in Albany to meet a friend, Emily, for lunch. Hunter got out of the car and was super excited to walk through the snowflakes.
We drove for about 2 more hours to Nonna's house and as soon as Hunter got out of the car he made a snowball and threw it at Jill's car. Then he got all of his snow gear on and threw snowballs, played on the sled, and built his own snowman.
He rolled out and made his own snowman.
Trying to sled down a tiny snow pile off of Nonna's deck.
Nonna pulled Hunter around on the sled like she did with Austin when he was in NY last month.
Nonna had a bunch of presents for Hunter for his birthday. She also had her sister's over for dinner and cake. Hunter was surprised with another special Mario cake.
We went down to visit Papa John afterwards. We're all ready for bed now! Can't wait to sleep!
