Tricia's Toddler Center

Busy, busy day today with a bunch of two year olds, an eight month old, and a three year old.  I had Ella and Cam here with me today and my neighbor needed me to watch her son for a bit while she went to the dentist.  (We swap out childcare every so often.)  Then a friend from school called to see if I could keep her son for the day.  Realizing I was going to have 5 children two and under in my house for a portion of the day, I asked my friend Mariana to come help me out.  Thankfully she said yes, because she likes chaos as much as I do.  So...with her help and the help of her daughter we made it through just fine.

Austin told me he wanted to sit on the potty.  So, I snapped this and I envision he is yelling, "Don't you dare post this picture on the blog."  Sorry Austin.

Caleb and Austin started off the morning with band practice.  Maybe someday they'll be in a band together.  :)

Cam was working on pulling himself up to check out the train table, but decided to eat it instead.  Who doesn't like the taste of a train table?

The boys were watching Tripp come over from across the street.

Enjoying breakfast together...just the boys.

Once everyone arrived we all went for a walk.  (two double strollers, one walking, one in an ergo)

Austin and Gabby were collecting acorns (Austin had to get out and walk too).  He kept trying to put the acorn on his thumb.

Four riding the tire swing.  We were trying to get them all to look up at the camera.

Band practice, again, after lunch...down to just three 2 year olds and a sleeping baby.

And, a little round of chase with lots of laughs and squeals.

The finished product of our St. Patrick's Day project.

My first attempt at decorating cake pops.  I learned that the baking part is super easy...but, the dipping of the chocolate part is much harder.  At least I have one batch under my belt before I attempt more later this week for Austin's birthday party.  Just in case you can't tell...they are apples for Hunter's teachers.

We had a lot left over so everyone got to try them.  Pretty tasty!

After all day with many children, I made a quick dinner and went to knitting class.  Definitely ready for bed!
