The library story time is on a "break" for a few weeks, so we went to check out the story time at a local Barnes and Noble. The reader read Caps For Sale which is a really cute story written in the 40s about monkeys who copy what a man does. Ella and Austin got to make their own monkey with a cap. However, Ella acted like the crayons were going to bite her and Austin kept dumping his crayons out of the cup and asking for water to fill it up.
We played with a train table there for a bit and Austin got really upset when we were leaving...good and bad...good, because he is getting a train table for his birthday so I know he'll like it...bad, because he was screaming and kicking as we were leaving the store.
We headed over to a nearby playground. The weather was fantastic. This playground is perfect for toddlers. There is also a big field to run around and play.
Austin kept checking over his shoulder to see if someone was chasing him. At one point he ran so far off I had to run after him to make sure he didn't go into the woods (road behind the woods)...he was screaming no, no and running straight for the woods and fell right near some pricker bushes. He was running so fast he ran right out of his shoe.
Austin really is into dribbling now.
