Baby Blanket

Austin and Ella enjoying some yogurt...messy kiddos!

This morning Austin, Ella, and I went to visit Chris at work.  We delivered the baby blanket I made to Rachel, who is married to Chris' cousin, Bryan.  They had a baby boy in the end of December.  I started this blanket the day he was born and told Rachel I would give it to her before he turned 10.  It took me THREE months to finish...but, that is with a lot of starting and stopping.  I also took the blanket apart several times!  There are a few mistakes that I made that I did not go back and fix because I was too far along.  They drive me nuts, but overall...I think the blanket came out pretty well for my first one!  It is really soft and warm.  I kind of wanted to keep it for myself.  :)  I am working on another blanket for a special little girl!  Hopefully she'll get it before she's 10!  Here are a few pictures I took of it before we brought it in.

I had Austin lay next to it so you could see the size in comparison to something.

After stopping by the office we went to visit Hunter at school and had lunch with him.  Austin was entertaining a group of boys by doing things to make them laugh.  Anything Austin would do would get a loud roar of approval by the kindergarten boys watching him.  They all loved it!

Before nap we had some fun playtime outside.

Playing peek-a-boo...

I had a parent teacher conference with Hunter's teacher this afternoon.  He is doing very well!  I told him we could go to the movies this weekend.  He's pretty excited!  Tomorrow he has his first t-ball game.
