These were probably the three most horrible slides I have ever seen. The middle one has bumps you hit as you come down...I watched one little girl fly down, hit the last bump, fly through the air, and face plant into the mulch. The two side slides are curvy...I watched several kids try these only to be tossed around, bump their heads, etc...
Thankfully, Austin didn't want to go down it because it was, "too high!"
I couldn't really take pictures during practice because Austin would not stay in one place long enough.
Making cake...
Austin and Winnie have been really interested in each other lately.
And then the real fun started...we wanted to go for a walk...Austin had Winnie's leash for a bit, then he took Sadie's...then he decided his shoes hurt his feet, sat in the middle of the road and tried to take his shoes off. We convinced him to go home and get the wagon and then he could take his shoes off. Well, then he wanted to pull the wagon...then he wanted me to carry him. He finally got into the wagon (mind you were were just around the corner from our house, so we had not made it very far).
About a minute later he wanted to get out of the wagon and have me hold him, but instead he started running in to other peoples yards. So...long story short...we had to carry him home kicking and screaming the ENTIRE way. Here's what he looked like once we got home.
Terrible twos times 100...isn't he cute! (not) He went to his room to calm down...he screamed and hollered like a lunatic for quite some time and finally stopped and asked for some milk.
Tricia, I love that you document this stage in austin's life. You are going to have many laughs someday.. Good thing our boys are strong right. IT gives us mom's a good work out. I think our son's are destined to be CEO's or members of a nudist colony. Who knows, but the journey is sure going to be interesting.
ReplyDeletehaha...so true Jocelyn! I can't wait for our boys to meet and play. They are going to be best buds!
