Boats, Trains, Carousels, and Cows

Jill flew in this morning...it was a beautiful day so we took the kids to Pullen Park.  The boys had fun on the play structures, riding the little kiddie boats, we all rode the choo choo, paddle boats (scary with a two year old), carousel and then we had a snack of loco pops and popcorn before heading home.  (sorry, run on sentence...very tired)

Austin didn't cry on the train this time!

Hunter being Hunter during lunch.

Should we take a two year old on a paddle boat?  Sure, why not...ummm...now I can think of quite a few reasons why NOT to bring a two year old on a paddle boat.  Live and learn.

We've been on this carousel before and I do not remember it going as fast as it did.  It was whipping around and around faster then any other carousel I've been on before.

Austin liked his first taste of popcorn so much that he found someone else's popcorn that had been left behind, dumped it out and tried to eat it.  He also found a piece on the ground and picked it up and ate it.  Tasty!

We got back to our car to find this car parked next to ours.  Check out the license plate.  You might need to click on the picture to see it better.  "MMMMHMM!"

Whole Foods was having a sale today only on organic blueberries...we bought two cases...aka 24 pints.  We've eaten 5-6 pints so far.

A little school work on Friday afternoon...I'll give Hunter a break for the weekend.

Jill and I went to Artistic Abandon tonight...a painting place.  We painted these cows.  I am going to hang mine in Austin's room.  It was a tough painting and took THREE hours...they lady said this was their hardest painting.  I'd have to agree!

  1. That painting class thing is cool! Good job on the cows. Landon looked at them and said, "mooooo!" Actually, he is still mooing.
Say hi to Aunt Jilly for me!
