Bright and early this morning I took Hunter to his first practice for coaches pitch baseball. He was excited and it was easier to get him out that door at 8:10 then I thought it was going to be. Thankfully practice was early, because it was already really warm. There was some shade, but even standing in the shade was uncomfortable!
He did really well fielding the ball and then hitting too. Afterwards he told me it was harder then he thought it was going to be because the ball was pitched pretty fast, but after a few strikes he did really well.
A few neighbor friends came over to play for a bit today. They all had a lot of fun playing with the bat cave. Hunter was being the entertainer and dressing up in silly outfits acting out the part. Later, all the kids minus Austin, went to Andrew's house to play for a bit.
Chris was playing on the iPad and the kids were all interested in it.
This evening Emily and Owen came over to swim before dinner. The boys were using the tube as a car...Hunter was the driver and Owen was the motor.
Everyone is quite tired tonight!
