The Mist

Today we ventured out to the Life and Science Museum in Durham.  Two adults vs. five children.

Ella jumped right in and started playing.  She usually sticks to me like glue when we go out.

Gabby likes to lead Austin around...and she is one person that he actually listens to.

Checking out the sheep.  Austin starting gagging at their smell.

Looking at the pigs...

Max, the cow, is the reason Austin LOVES cows.  However, he wants to see him...but not get too close.  He was very concerned.  He did yell, "Bye, Max" as we were walking away.

They just opened a really neat mist exhibit.  I followed some advice of people who had already been there and dressed the kids in their suits before we left. They were soaked within a few minutes and had a great time.  If these pictures had sound you would hear a lot of squeals.

There were also these tunnels in the ground with little gopher holes to pop out of...Hunter loved them.

Snack break.

Whack-a-Mole anyone?  Just kidding he's too cute to whack back down with a big rubber hammer.

Thankfully the kids were hungry and it was not too hard to get them away from the mist area.  But, we had to stop at this magnetic seed carrier thingy before stopping for lunch.

Some music before heading home.

I had to add this photo, because it was a cute picture of the boys...

But, I had to add this one as well, because it is a classic Hunter face.

Some how NO ONE fell asleep on the way home.  They all watched the Lorax once we were home.

Hunter had baseball practice at a batting cage before tomorrow night's game.
