But, we took a few pit stops to feed the ducks and turtles:
We stopped and played at the playground:
The whole trip took about 2 hours. I was pretty tired and it was super hot!
I spent the afternoon cleaning while the kids napped. This evening Austin and I had to run to the store and we picked up some ice cream for Nonna. We had to test it out to make sure it was OK though. :)
Nonna, Ed, and Hunter were driving to Raleigh today. They went to the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA for a few hours and then hit the road. I told Austin that Bro Bro was almost home and he wanted to go outside to wait. (check out his new rain boots)
When he saw the car he started running and screaming...bro bro, bro bro. Then he got shy when he saw Nonna and Ed get out of the car too.
But, it didn't take very long for him to get back to normal...he hugged Hunter several times.
They were so happy to see each other.
Austin wanted to sleep with Hunter on the air mattress. Thankfully he fell asleep in his own bed. I didn't think the two boys sleeping together on a twin would work out so well. (flash on my phone was super bright)
