Slugs and baseball

This morning after everyone was up I realized the dogs were missing.  They were not outside...I found them still asleep upstairs.

Austin was busy making ice cream with Play-Doh before I had even made breakfast.

Last lunch bunch of the summer!

We found a slug near the house and the kids were pretending to eat it.  The slug seems closer then it really was.

Austin probably would have tried it if I had not pulled it away.

Andrew's turn...

I'm not sure if Hunter's mouth is big enough.

Ella had her mouth opened wide, but ran before I could snap the picture.

We had a few friends over today...I realized that we have more toy weapons then anyone I know.  It turned into a pretty crazy game of cops and robbers with daggers, light sabers, swords, pistols, shields, etc...

Hunter had his first coach pitch game tonight...under the lights!

He's number 7.

First time up to bat...he hit the ball and made it to first.

Right after hitting home plate...notice his arm high in the air.  When he gets excited he swings his arms like a windmill when he runs.

3rd base...

Second time up he ended up striking out...but he nicked the ball a few times.   He had some really good swings.

The turtle that was trying to get out onto the field.

Go Bees!
